“We have completed our second annual maintenance contract with Rob and Northern Illinois Septic Service. We will renew gladly and highly recommend them. Rob is excellent at communicating when he will perform the inspections, and he follows up afterwards with an email and a copy of his report in case the one he leaves behind is lost.

 

We found Rob after we had a blower go out just after an inspection by another company. Rob came out and replaced the blower at a fair price and we decided to go with him for annual maintenance. We cancelled the maintenance contract (just renewed) with the old company.

 

We now get maintenance, not jut a look and a report. Rob checks more than two previous companies, which include the original designer/system provider Syber-Aer. Rob has made suggestions and changes to our system that have improved performance. He has taken the time to explain his improvements as well. Most of them have been minor - not expensive or time consuming, and he has included them at no charge. So even if he is a little more expensive on his contract cost, he does provide a better value overall.

“After four years of having Rob servicing our septic system, I thought I should finally write a review. We originally had another company service our septic but often had a hard time getting ahold of anyone. I somehow found Northern Illinois Septic Service and since then, Rob is the only one I trust to service our septic system. He lets us know when he's coming out and to see if we need any chlorine or if there are any problems that he needs to be aware of. One time when we were having the tanks pumped, he was in the area and actually came out to monitor and speak with the company pumping because our system is a little bit different than the normal septic system (we do not have a septic field). This past winter, we had to have our aerator replaced, and he gave us several different choices for our budget. I really appreciated that he didn't try to push the most expensive option. Customer service such as his is rare these days unfortunately. For that reason, I always recommend Northern Illinois Septic Service to our friends."
